NFL Week 15 Waiver Wire Add

Kyle Monangai (CHI - RB)

FAB: 20%

Monangai has quietly taken on a significant role in Chicago’s backfield. Over the past three games he has led the Bears in carries despite sharing snaps with D’Andre Swift. The rookie has averaged 12.6 fantasy points per game across the last eight contests, providing steady flex value. Chicago’s offense under Caleb Williams is willing to run, and Monangai should see plenty of work in Week 15 against Cleveland. The Browns’ normally stout run defense looked vulnerable after getting gashed on the ground in Week 14. Monangai’s consistent workload in a timeshare and his reliability near the goal line make him a strong pickup for those seeking a flex or RB3 with a solid floor.

Blake Corum (LAR - RB)

FAB: 20%

Corum is coming off a breakout performance and is quickly rising up the priority list. He has now scored 14+ PPR points in back-to-back games, exploding for a career-high 26.1 points in the Rams’ Week 14 win over Arizona. The rookie led Los Angeles in rushing each of the past two weeks and even outpaced established starter Kyren Williams in red-zone carries last game. That usage indicates the Rams trust Corum near the goal line. A tough matchup against Detroit’s stout run front is on tap for Week 15, so temper immediate expectations. Still, Corum is an essential handcuff for Kyren Williams managers and offers flex value in deeper leagues given his recent surge.

Chris Rodriguez Jr. (WAS - RB)

FAB: 12-15%

Rodriguez has emerged as the clear lead back in Washington’s committee. Over the last three games, he’s been the only Commanders running back to play over 40% of the snaps each week, and in that span he has 38 touches, more than double the workload of any other Washington back. With Brian Robinson Jr. dealing with injuries, Rodriguez has out-touched backups like Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Jeremy McNichols by a wide margin. In Week 15 he draws a very favorable matchup against the Giants, a defense that has struggled versus the run. Washington’s offense isn’t high-powered, but volume is king in fantasy: Rodriguez’s secure role as the early-down and short-yardage runner puts him on the RB2 or flex radar this week.

Jaylen Wright (MIA - RB)

FAB: 5%

Wright is a high-upside handcuff who could pay immediate dividends if circumstances break his way. Rookie sensation De’Von Achane is banged up with a rib injury, and there’s a real chance he may have to sit out Week 15. If Achane is out, Wright would likely step in as Miami’s primary runner. In Week 14, once Achane got hurt, Wright played over half the offensive snaps and rumbled for 100+ rushing yards, clearly out-snapping fellow backup Ollie Gordon. With Miami’s dynamic offense, any starting running back is at least an RB2, and Wright would face a middling Pittsburgh Steelers run defense in Week 15. This is a pure contingency add – if Achane is cleared to play, Wright’s value plummets, but as a one-week rental or bench stash for depth, Wright could be a league-winning surprise if he ends up starting.

Christian Watson (GB - WR)

FAB: 15%

Watson is heating up at the perfect time. The fourth-year receiver has scored 18+ fantasy points in three of his last four games, averaging 18.4 PPR points over that stretch thanks to an impressive five touchdown catches. He’s also recorded back-to-back games with 80+ receiving yards for the first time in his career, indicating a new level of consistency. Green Bay has clearly made Watson a go-to target for Jordan Love. One note of caution: a road matchup at Denver awaits in Week 15. The Broncos’ secondary has tightened up, allowing only five wide receiver touchdowns all season, so this is a tougher test. Even so, Watson’s recent production makes him worth the add – you ride the hot hand here, just with slightly tempered expectations against a stingy Broncos pass defense.

Luther Burden III (CHI - WR)

FAB: 8%

Burden is a prime “next man up” scenario in Chicago. With rookie wideout Rome Odunze potentially out multiple weeks due to injury, Burden should see a major uptick in opportunities. He’s already been steadily involved, with at least five targets in every game since Week 10, and now could be stepping into a starting role alongside D.J. Moore. Quarterback Caleb Williams has shown chemistry with Burden, and while he does spread the ball around – slot receiver Olamide Zaccheaus gets the occasional look – Zaccheaus hasn’t seen more than three targets in any of the last four games. Burden, by contrast, has been consistently in the game plan and profiles as the 1B to Moore’s 1A moving forward. In the coming weeks, including a decent matchup against a Cleveland secondary that can be beaten by speed, Burden offers upside as a playmaking rookie who might lead the Bears in targets while Odunze is sidelined.

Jayden Higgins (HOU - WR)

FAB: 5%

Higgins is an under-the-radar rookie who has quietly carved out the No. 2 receiver role in Houston. In the Texans’ Week 14 win, he caught three of five targets for 34 yards – not eye-popping numbers, but notably he finished second on the team in both targets and receiving yards, behind only Nico Collins. Higgins has clearly leapfrogged veterans like Christian Kirk and young wideouts like Xavier Hutchinson on the depth chart, establishing himself as C.J. Stroud’s second read in the passing game. He’s been consistently involved and has a nose for the end zone with four touchdown receptions on the season. With several favorable matchups coming up for Houston’s passing attack over the next few weeks, Higgins makes for a great deep-league stash or flex play. He can provide sneaky value down the stretch, especially if opposing defenses focus on containing Collins.

Tim Patrick (JAX - WR)

FAB: 3%

Patrick is a veteran receiver who has become a legitimate deep-league target due to circumstances in Jacksonville. In Week 14, he had his best outing of the year with five catches for 78 yards and a touchdown on six targets in the Jaguars’ win over Indianapolis. Those were season-high marks in receptions and yards for the 32-year-old, who capitalized on extra playing time with slot receiver Parker Washington sidelined, logging 65.6% of snaps. Jacksonville acquired Patrick just before the season, and while he hasn’t been a focal point, he has seen at least four targets in three of the past four games. That consistent involvement, combined with his recent success, suggests Patrick could have a late-season role. He’s still mostly a deep-league flex option for now – especially with a tough Jets secondary on deck in Week 15 – but if Washington remains out, Patrick should continue to see enough volume to matter.

Harold Fannin Jr. (CLE - TE)

FAB: 15%

Fannin has been lighting it up and might be the best tight end still available in many leagues. He erupted for 25.4 fantasy points in Week 14, the highest among all tight ends, and has become a favorite target since Cleveland’s quarterback change. The switch to rookie QB Shedeur Sanders has turbo-charged Fannin’s production – only Trey McBride has more catches and yards at tight end than Fannin since Sanders took over as the starter in Week 12. Fannin’s combination of size and athleticism is translating to immediate results, and he’s been a regular feature in the Browns’ passing game. Cleveland’s upcoming schedule isn’t overly daunting, and Fannin’s role, especially in the red zone, should remain robust. He offers a potentially elite weekly ceiling at a position where that’s hard to find on waivers.

Isaiah Likely (BAL - TE)

FAB: 8%

Likely is emerging as a late-season streaming hero at tight end. He has posted 12.5 PPR points in back-to-back games, and that’s despite having a second touchdown wiped away by a controversial replay ruling in Week 14. With Mark Andrews out of the picture, Likely has stepped up as a reliable target for Lamar Jackson. Week 15 brings a dream matchup against the Bengals, who give up the most fantasy points to tight ends of any defense in the league. The Ravens should funnel a good number of plays Likely’s way in this contest. As long as he can avoid mistakes, Likely has a great chance to keep this scoring streak alive and is an ideal plug-and-play with top-five positional upside for the week.

Trevor Lawrence (JAX - QB)

FAB: 8%

Lawrence has rebounded from mid-season struggles and averaged about 20.5 fantasy points per game over the last two weeks, showing starter-worthy production. He now draws a favorable Week 15 matchup at home against the Jets’ defense, which was just shredded by Miami in Week 14. Turnovers have been an issue in the past for Lawrence, but with the Jaguars likely to lean on the run against New York, another ~20-point outing is well within reach. Lawrence remains a high-upside option for the fantasy playoffs, especially if you need a boost at QB.

Tyler Shough (NO - QB)

FAB: 2%

Shough has been a surprisingly steady dual-threat QB since taking over as the Saints’ starter. Over the past four games, the rookie has averaged about 227 passing yards, 1 touchdown, and 16.4 fantasy points per game, even topping 17 fantasy points in three of those four outings, including a career-high in Week 14. He’s added value with his legs and now faces the Carolina Panthers. While Carolina’s pass defense has improved recently, they struggled to contain Shough in Week 10, when he lit them up for 282 yards and two TDs. Shough’s combination of rushing ability and a friendly matchup makes him an intriguing streamer or deep-league play in Week 15.

Philadelphia Eagles D/ST (PHI - DST)

FAB: 5%

The Eagles defense is a premium streaming option for Week 15. They now face the Las Vegas Raiders, the league’s most inept offense by many measures. This matchup in Week 15 heavily favors Philadelphia’s defense – sacks and turnovers should be on the menu against a struggling Raiders squad. The Eagles might be a unit to keep for the rest of the fantasy playoffs: in Week 16 they get the Washington Commanders, who were just shut out in their Week 14 game. Philadelphia’s defensive line could feast in these upcoming games, offering both a high floor and high ceiling.

New York Giants D/ST (NYG - DST)

FAB: 1%

For those in deep leagues or desperate for a DST, the Giants defense is a boom-or-bust lottery ticket with a tantalizing playoff schedule. New York’s defense was floundering prior to their Week 14 bye – they weren’t forcing many punts or turnovers – but over Weeks 15 through 17 they face Washington, Minnesota, and Las Vegas, three offenses known for giving up fantasy points to opposing defenses. The Commanders and Vikings have been erratic of late, capable of scoring but also prone to mistakes, and the Raiders continue to be a reliable matchup to exploit. The Giants’ unit hasn’t shown much life, so this is a high-risk play, but if you’re streaming and the pickings are slim, you can’t ignore the matchup upside. New York could surprise with a strong outing if even one or two of those games turn into low-scoring, turnover-filled affairs.
